Zoom X3 & X5 ADSL Modem Setup

The following setup is for the Zoom X3 5560 and X5 Model 5554 ADSL modem.

Open your Internet Browser and enter http://10.0.0.2 into the Address bar.  You will be prompted for a username and password. Look in the documentation that was sent with the modem or contact us if you are unable to locate it.

The following screen will appear. 

Verify that the VPI is set to 0 and the VCI is set to 35 (VCI for Qwest DSL is 32)
Set Encapsulation to PPPoA VC-MUX
Make sure Bridge is Disabled
Enter your Username and Password
Authentication should be either Auto or PaP
Check that Automatic Reconnect is selected
Click Save Changes
Click Write Settings to Flash and Reboot
